No, it's not the degenerate American Beauty or the National Abortion Rights League's Cider House Rules.
It's a great American Story: "An American Story."
We've mentioned this before in this e-wire. Here's the description:

The movie gets to the heart of the Stalin comment: "Those who cast the votes decide nothing, those who count the votes decide everything." It's the ultimate "Votefraud vs. honest elections" movie, to date.
At the climax of the movie, the corrupt Mayor and Sheriff take all the ballots into the jailhouse where they plan to count them in secret, while all the public and the opposing candidates are expected to stand outside and wait for the incumbents to count the ballots, and then come out and announce the results. You'll have to get the movie to see the rest, and it's well worth it. This movie is undoubtedly based on the real life 1946 incident which took place in Athens, Tennessee - which we covered in the Network America e-wire of March 31, 2000.
Good viewing right after you look for the umpteenth time at the picture that New World Order terrorist soldier pointing the gun in the face of Elian and Donato right before the kidnapping.
