Dick Murphy - He Will Be There!

Dick Murphy is one of the true pioneers for an honest vote count in this country. And he will be one of the speakers at the upcoming "votefraud vs. honest election" convention in Cincinnati in late August (See votefraud.org for details).

I wonder how many will remember the name of CongressmanJohn Schmitz? Schmitz was the witty campaigner who took up the mantle of the American Independent Party after Gov. George Wallace was shot during the 1972 Democratic primaries. Schmitz didn't carry any of the baggage that Wallace did from the segregation era, and he was one of the best one line campaigners ever. Despite a Big Media blackout he got over 1 million votes in an era when votes were still counted largely in a verifiable manner.

Dick Murphy was John Schmitz's campaign manager long before the 1972 campaign - when he was winning his first seats in the California state legislature and in the US Congress.

Dick Murphy was aware of, -- and dealing with -- the dangers of mechanized and computerized vote-counting even then. He also ran for US Senate against Senator Karl Mundt in Oklahoma. And he has run recent races, and may be running one this year.

In the primary in Lassen County California earlier this year, Dick challenged an entrenched sitting federal judge. Just as in the Nevada race observed by Chuck Geshlider recently, the Murphy race wound up with 2000 more votes cast than were cast in any other race in the county - and an unexplained high voter turn never before seen in any race. We're talking about 7,000 votes in every other race - and 9000 votes in the Murphy race. Very strange. With the votes counted in the dark and Murphy's people specifically barred from counting the votes at the precinct by county elections supervisor Terese Nagele --- Murphy, of course, lost to establishment-approved sitting Federal Judge.

It is suspected in such cases that the Board of Elections, or someone with access to the ballots, simply add in enough votes to make their "good ole' boy" the "winner." No one will ever know, because the whole process is done in secret, away from the prying eyes of the public.
